Screen layout
When you log in to the Dynamic Storage Platform, you have access to Vawlt’s key management topics.
On the left side of the screen on desktop, or through clicking in the hamburger icon on mobile, you’ll find the main menu (with a blue background), with the following management options:
- Overview;
- Volumes;
- Users.
Also, you’ll find links to important pages as well:
- Terms of Use;
- Privacy Policy;
- Download App;
- Contact Us;
- Return to Homepage.
On the top of the screen, there’s a header (with a white background) where you can find:
- The company name;
- A salutation with the user’s name, and when clicking you have access to several options:
- Account;
- Billing/Payment;
- Log out.
My Overview
After the login, the “Overview” option is selected by default, and this means you’ll have a dashboard with the main statistics related to your account. There, you can check:
- How many volumes are created;
- How many users are registered;
- The monthly usage of storage capacity and download quota, updated every 30 seconds;
- The monthly global bill (from all created volumes);
- A log list with all the management activity from users within the platform;
- A deployment list from all devices where users are logged and accessing volumes.
Logs
In “My Overview”, there’s a “Logs” section, that lists the management activity from all users within the platform. This section lists the following general actions:
- Logins, logouts and password management;
- Volume creation, deletion and edition;
- User creation, deletion and edition.
Depending on each action, the “Logs” section may display the following information:
- Timestamp;
- The user’s email;
- The user’s device name;
- The user’s IP address;
- The volume name.
In the section’s top right corner, you can perform a keyword search to match any specific log entry.
You can also navigate through several list pages with the “Previous” and “Next” buttons.
Deployments
Also in “My Overview”, the “Deployments” section lists all the devices where is deployed the Software Agent. This list shows the following information about each deployment:
- Device name;
- Operating system;
- IP address;
- The administrator’s email;
- Last activity’s timestamp;
- The number of created volumes.
In the section’s top right corner, you can perform a keyword search to match any specific deployment.
You can also navigate through several list pages with the “Previous” and “Next” buttons.
