Storage Volumes

Vawlt enables the creation of virtual storage services in a multicloud environment. Each volume can have very specific configurations to answer all your system architecture’s storage needs.

A Volume is our storage resource unit and you can have as many as you want or need. When creating each volume, you can define the type – Hot, Immutable or Archival – Hot, Immutable or Archival – depending on the type of data to be stored, the cloud providers and data-center geographic locations to be used to store the data, the interfaces to access that data, and the maximum download quota to be consumed each month.

To create and manage volumes after performing the login, click on the “Volumes” item in the main menu.

This section shows how to use the Dynamic Storage Platform to create and manage volumes, the volume types available for configuration, and other topics related to this subject.
