Manage users

To edit a user, go to the “My users” screen, and in the User list, click on the icon with an arrow pointing down on the desired User. After that, you’ll get to the “User Details” page.

In this page, you have different areas, where you can edit the User’s information:

  • Personal Info;
  • S3 API Credentials.

Also, you can edit view more information related to your user:

  • Volumes;
  • Logs;
  • Deployments.

If you’re an admin, to delete the user, you can select the red trash button on the top right corner of the screen.

To go back to the User list, select “< Users” on the top left corner of the screen.

Personal Info

Here you can find the user’s personal information:

  • First Name;
  • Last Name;
  • Email Address.

To edit the First and Last Name, click on the “Edit” button on the module’s top right corner.

The Email Address can’t be changed at this time.

S3 API Credentials

It’s possible to create S3 API Credentials for each user if they wish to use this service.

To generate new keys, click on the blue button “Generate”.

After this, an Access Key and a Secret Key are generated.

Note:  Since when you click on “Generate” it’s the only time you can view the Secret Key, we advise you to store it in a safe place. However, at any time, you will be able to regenerate new keys.

Logs

The “Logs” section lists the activity related to this specific user. The following actions are taken on consideration:

  • Logins and passwords;
  • Create, edit and delete users.
  • Volume creation and assignment.

This section also displays the following information of each action:

  • Timestamp;
  • The user’s email;
  • The user’s device name;
  • The user’s IP address;
  • The volume name.

In the section’s top right corner, you can perform a keyword search to match any specific log entry.

You can also navigate through several list pages with the “Previous” and “Next” buttons.

Deployments

The “Deployments” section lists all the devices that this user has is deployed. This list shows the following information about each deployment:

  • Device name;
  • Operating system;
  • IP address;
  • The administrator’s email;
  • Last activity’s timestamp;
  • The number of volumes.

In the section’s top right corner, you can perform a keyword search to match any specific deployment.

You can also navigate through several list pages with the “Previous” and “Next” buttons.
